The Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham will host its 14th annual Red Shoe Run on Jan. 27. This year’s event will feature a 10-mile run, a 5K, a 1-mile fun run and a flexible Red Shoe “snoozer” run. Read more

For those looking to exercise more in 2016, Homewood will be hosting two January races. The first is Resolution Run at Red Mountain Park. The fifth annual run will be on Jan. 2. Read more

Watch for traffic delays in between Greensprings Highway and U.S. 31. The race begins at 7 a.m. on Jan. 10. Read more

There will be traffic delays throughout Homewood from 7-10 a.m., according to Homewood Police. Roads might be closed for brief periods during the race. Read more
