Red Mountain Park 277 Lyon Lane, Homewood, Alabama 35211
Alabama Outdoors, in partnership with Red Mountain Park and the Birmingham Track Club, is pleased to announce the startup of our very popular Tuesday evening trail runs. Starting back August 14th, and continuing every Tuesday from then on, we have a trail run scheduled to take place. Participants of all skill levels and ages are welcome to join us. We have everyone out from hikers to elite runners training for their next trail race, and every one in between. Come spend some time outdoors with us in Birmingham's newest park.
We meet at the main entrance to Red Mountain Park at 5:45 P.M., with the run beginning at 6:00 P.M sharp. We will have 4-6 mile options available. Many of our favorite outdoor brands will be on hand with giveaways plus shoe and gear demos. Guided pace groups will include:
Advanced – Run at 8:00/mile pace
Intermediate – Run at 10:00/mile pace
Beginner – Run at 12:00/mile pace
The loops are also open to hikers and runners as well!
Red Mountain Park main entrance is located at 277 Lyon Lane, Birmingham, AL 35211.
