Homewood canned food drive
Homewood High School SGA officers Meredith Smith, Miller Williams and Dixon Simmons with Restoration UMC Mission Brother Moore. Homewood students collected and delivered 800 canned food items to the Mission two days before Thanksgiving.
Homewood High School students delivered 800 canned food items to the Restoration United Methodist Church Mission Tuesday, Nov. 20. The food was collected during the school's annual Beta Club canned food drive.
Restoration Mission serves Birmingham's Arlington West End community. Students from Homewood High School and Vestavia Hills High School also assist with Dream Garden, the mission's after-school mentoring program.
