Turkey trotters

Edgewood Elementary School’s 13th Annual Turkey Trot was a huge success this year with more than 425 student runners. The students trained at least once a week and many times twice a week.  

Since the beginning of school, Edgewood students have logged more than 8,000 miles combined in preparation for the Trot and the Mercedes Kids Marathon. The Trot was one more mile toward their goal of 25.2 before the Kids Marathon in February.
