Arts & crafts sale at Our Lady of Sorrows

An arts and crafts sale will take place at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church on October 28. The sale, which has become an annual tradition at the church, features the many different talents of members of the parish. Art on sale includes homemade honey, pottery, photography, oil paintings, needlework and wood carvings. There will also be many Christmas gifts for sale such as handmade ornaments, scarves, children’s clothing, jellies and jams.

The Altar Sodality Ladies will also host a bake sale that will include cookies, cakes and homemade frozen casseroles just in time for the holidays. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the church’s general fund, which will go to help the poor and needy this holiday season.

The event will take place from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the church’s Family Life Center, which is most easily accessed using Central Avenue. Admission is free and refreshments will be provided. For more information, contact Fran Robertson at 529-3336.
