Sims to play in 2014 Army All-American Bowl

Homewood High School’s Jordan Sims has been selected to play in the 2014 U. S. Army All-American Bowl. The event takes place on Jan. 4, 2014 in the Alamodome in San Antonio. Many current NFL players participated in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, and it is considered the premier event to showcase the country’s best senior high school football players and marching band members.

The 6-foot-4-inch, 330-pound rising senior received First Team AWSA 5A All-State honors as a junior and has received scholarship offers from Auburn University and The University of Alabama, as well as from colleges across the country.
