Rutledge named Player of the Week by The Homewood Star

Walter Rutledge only carried the ball ten times, but he made them count.  Four touchdowns and 209 yards rushing earned Rutledge Player of the Week honors from The Homewood Star.

Behind the running of Rutledge, Homewood dominated Sylacauga High School 50-7 win, continuing their winning streak and remaining undefeated in region play.

The Patriots (6-1, 5-0) look to continue their run through the region when they host Shelby County next week.
