Pats to play Minor

The Homewood Patriots (3-2, 3-0 Class 6A, Region 5), coming off an open date, get back into region play on Oct. 3 when they host the Minor Tigers (3-2, 2-1) at 7 p.m. at Waldrop Stadium.

The Patriots hold a game lead over Minor, Briarwood Christian and Walker in the race for the region championship. Four of the Pats' final five games are at home, including next week's homecoming game against Walker.
