Patriots boys, girls face Briarwood as soccer playoffs begin

The fourth-ranked Homewood Patriots boys host Briarwood Christian on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the first round of the Class 6A boys soccer tournament.

The Lady Patriots, ranked 10th in the state, travel to Briarwood for a 2 p.m. match on Saturday.

The Homewood boys (11-6-3) is seeking a repeat state championship. The Patriots won the Class 5A title last season.
