Patriots demolish Shelby County 63-0

The Homewood Patriots defense held Shelby County to a meager ten yards running, leading the way to a 63-0 blowout victory.

Shelby County also managed only 34 yards passing in a game that was never in doubt.

Star running back Walter Rutledge led the Patriots with 101 yards and two touchdowns on just seven carries.  Quarterback Carson Griffis passed for a touchdown and ran for a score. 

Next week, the Patriots (7-1, 6-0) take their seven game winning streak on the road to Talladega.
