The sixth-ranked Homewood Patriots continued their march through region play with a 54 - 6 crushing of Ramsay.

Homewood (3-1, 3-0) dominated all phases of the game, scoring multiple touchdowns on the ground and through the air as its offense was unstoppable.

Walter Rutledge scored two touchdowns and amassed 136 yards rushing.  Devonte Wallace had 136 yards receiving and a touchdown on just three receptions.  Quarterback Carson Griffis passed for 147 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Patriots’ attack.

The Patriots’ defense was equally impressive.  Led by a Robert Fittro interception, Homewood shut out Ramsay until allowing a meaningless score late in the game.

Next week, the Patriots put their three-game winning streak on the line as they host Wetumpka.
