Patriots advance to regional play

Homewood High School's boys and girls basketball teams will compete in the regional basketball tournament at Jacksonville State University on Wednesday, Feb. 19.

The girls play at noon, and the boys play at 1:30 p.m.

High school students will be allowed to attend the game if they submit proper permission forms available on the school’s website and athletics' Facebook page.

The boys defeated Center Point 52-50 Friday night in a sub-regional game, and the girls won over Springville 55-45 to advance to the regional tournament.
