Eleven players scored as Homewood knocked off Vestavia Hills, 66-44, on Friday night.

Ajah Wayne led the way with a game-high 18 points, 14 of those coming in the first quarter, as the Lady Patriots press overwhelmed the Lady Rebels.

Shelby Hardy was right behind Wayne with 13 points, all coming in the first three quarters of play.

Hannah Barber distributed the ball nicely, with six assists to go along with seven points. On the same token, Tori Webb did her part as well, grabbing six rebounds to complement her seven points.

Kalia Cunningham and Lia Roberson scored six. Venice Sanders, YaMiah Hill, Kassidy Crawford, Alexia Hood, and Sakeria Hollis rounded out the scoring for Homewood.

The Lady Patriots return to the floor at home on Monday, against Northridge at 6 p.m.
