Homewood boys and girls state semifinal games delayed one hour Thursday

The Homewood boys and girls basketball teams are set to tip off in the 6A semifinals of the AHSAA Basketball State Finals on Thursday. The games were rescheduled from Wednesday due to weather conditions.

The games Thursday have been pushed back one hour due to expected poor road conditions. The Lady Patriots (28-4) will take on Austin (28-4) at 10 a.m. The Patriots boys (28-7) face Lee-Huntsville (28-6) immediately following at 11:30 a.m.

The winners play Saturday.The girls final is scheduled for 1 p.m. and the boys final is set for 3 p.m.

The games are being played at Legacy Arena at the BJCC in downtown Birmingham.
