High school hosting basketball camp

Local kids will have a chance to learn from the state champs later this week.

On Friday, Nov. 11, the Homewood High School basketball program is hosting the Patriot Veterans Day Camp.

High school head coach Tim Shepler -- who led the program to its first state championship in 2016 -- along with other coaches and players will lead the camp, open to kids from kindergarten through middle school.

Walk-up registrations are accepted, and the camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
