Doubles pair wins Metro South

Homewood Middle School students Emma Petrey and Lucy Sheffer won the 2017 Metro South Tournament as a doubles pair, defeating Hewitt-Trussville in the quarterfinals, Berry in the semifinals, and Mountain Brook in the finals to win. The win was the first metro championship for the HMS girls program.
