Boys soccer comes up short in playoffs

The Homewood High School boys varsity soccer team lost Saturday night, 2-0, in the playoff game against Pelham. Despite many chances and shots on goal, the Patriots were unable to get anything past Pelham’s keeper.

A special thank you goes out to all of the students and fans who attended games and cheered the boys on during the season.

The varsity boys finished their season with a 14-6-2 record. The following seniors finished their careers with Homewood High School: Gabe Cooper, Jackson Lynn, Dagan Shurbet, Darwin Cruz, Davis Platt, Yulian Sanchez, Devin DeCastra, James Brazeal, Laughlin Ashe, Sumner Martin, Tommy Zadick, Omar Moussa, and Ryan Hepp.
