Pairing up for character

Character Partners is a program at Shades Cahaba Elementary School where students in a higher grade level are paired with younger students. 

These pairs meet in order to work together on a variety of projects. During this time, “big buddies” have the opportunity to act as role models for their younger peers. 

It is also used as a time to explore the monthly character words.
