Festival raises money for Shades Cahaba

Shades Cahaba Elementary School’s Winter Festival raised more than $75,000 for the school. The event included games, activities, an auction and food. 

The festival is Shades Cahaba’s only fundraiser of the year, and it is a testament to the support Shades Cahaba receives from parents, staff, teachers, students and the Homewood community. The money raised provides grant money to fulfill academic enhancement requests from the teachers.
