OLS students portray Stations of the Cross
Students at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School reenacted the last supper and the final hours of Jesus Christ’s life during a school performance.
Fifth and eighth grade students performed in two assemblies on the Thursday before Easter Sunday. They performed for fellow students, family and friends.
The fifth grade boys performed a 15-minute narrated presentation of the last supper, and eighth graders performed the Stations of the Cross, a Catholic tradition that portrays suffering Jesus endured. The portrayal included the 14 stations depicting Jesus’ journey, the condemnation of Jesus by Pontius Pilate and a 15th station of Jesus’ resurrection.
