OLS students become Peer Helpers

Thirteen eighth graders at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School have been selected as Peer Helpers for the 2014-2015 school year.

Throughout the year, these students serve as ambassadors for their school for all functions. Their responsibilities include helping other students with art projects, writing skills, reading and math. In addition, the Peer Helpers assist teachers with various bulletin board projects in the school, as well as tutoring other students.

These young people were chosen based on their grade point average, teacher recommendations, interviews and a special questionnaire.
