HMS teacher receives excellence award

Homewood Middle School technology education teacher Lovie Crawford was honored by the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association as one of 36 teachers from across the U.S. to receive its prestigious Teacher Excellence Award. 

The award is one of the highest honors given to technology education classroom teachers and is presented in recognition of each recipient’s outstanding contribution to the profession and to his or her students. The awards will be distributed as part of ITEEA’s second general conference session.
