HMS students learn about electric vehicles

To partner with the middle school curriculum on renewable and nonrenewable energy resources, HMS sixth-grade teachers planned a presentation for their students on electric vehicles where they got to learn about one of the vehicles firsthand. 

Alan Bates with Alabama Power presented to each sixth-grade class, and the students had a chance to look at a Tesla sedan (made in the United States) and see the features the vehicle had to offer.
