Teachers walk to school

Homewood City Schools’ employees participated in the National Walk to School Day in October. Employees modeled a healthy lifestyleastheymetattheirschoolsandwalked together to enjoy coffee at participating “Cup for a Buck” coffee locations. HCS employees wore Walk to School T-shirts, and participating coffee shops gave them a cup of coffee for a dollar. Participating Homewood businesses were O’Henry’s at Brookwood, O’Henry’s downtown, Hart and Soul and Homewood Diner.
