Eight Homewood students named National Merit semifinalists

Eight Homewood High School students were among 16,000 semifinalists in the annual National Merit Scholarship program, representing fewer than one percent of high school seniors. Due to their achievements on the PSAT, these students will compete for 8,300 National Merit Scholarships to be awarded in the spring.
