7 HHS seniors named National Merit Semifinalists

Seven Homewood High School seniors have been named National Merit Semifinalists. 

During the fall of their junior year, these students scored in the top 1 percent of students nationwide on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

These semifinalists are eligible to apply to become National Merit Finalists and will be notified in February if they advance. All National Merit Scholarship winners will be chosen from this group of finalists based on their abilities, skills and accomplishments.
