Homewood City Schools has approved the following calendar for next school year:

Aug. 19: First Day for Students

Sept. 2: Labor Day/Schools Closed

Oct. 18: Parent Teacher Conference Day

Nov. 11: Veterans' Day/ School Closed

Nov. 27-29: Thanksgiving Holiday/School Closed

Dec. 20: 2 p.m. Dismissal Day for Winter Holidays

Jan. 6: Schools Reopen

Jan. 20: MLK Holiday/Schools Closed

March 24-28: Spring Break

May 22: 2 p.m. Dismissal for Summer Break
