West Homewood Night Out to feature swordfights, music and more

This Saturday, swordfights, Italian ice, neo-folk music and improv comedy will take over Homewood for the West Homewood Night Out.

From 5-10 p.m., food trucks and vendors will set stationed around Patriot Park. Wholesome Soda will serve their locally-made beverages, Magic City Sweet Ice will sell mouth-watering Italian ice and Tropicaleo will dish out plates of Puerto Rican and Caribbean-inspired food. Other vendors include Pinky Face Paint, Steel City Pops, That's My Dawg, West Homewood Lions and much more.

The Barony of Iron Mountain, a living medieval history group, will begin a medieval tournament in the park at 6 p.m.

From 7-8:30 p.m., Hatfield Auto Service will be showing the movie Minions outside their new location.

At Seeds, SenoritAwesome and Giorgio will be performing live music from 7-9 p.m., followed by Game of Thrones improv comedy by the Extemporaneous Theatre Company.
