Relay for Life returns to Homewood

Homewood’s annual Relay for Life fundraiser was held on Friday, April 24 at Homewood Central Park.   

Participating teams of 10 to 25 people raised money for cancer research and support programs, and team members took turns running or walking laps during the relay.

Activities honoring cancer survivors, caregivers and those who lost the fight were held throughout the night. The Homewood High School cheerleaders and dance team performed and guests participated in cornhole tournaments along with other games and activities.
