MOMS Club of Birmingham holds annual Mardi Gras Parade

The MOMS Club of Birmingham, Over The Mountain chapter, hosted their annual Mardi Gras Parade. The parade took place on March 5 at Homewood Central Park.

Those participating began lining up at 3:45 p.m. and kicked off the parade at 4 p.m. Despite cool temperatures and wind, the sun was out and drew a nice crowd.

The parade took two laps around the park, handing out beadings and other Mardi Gras-themed decor. Some moms pushed babies in strollers decorated to look like floats. Afterward, people enjoyed King Cake and playing in the park.
