Families, friends gather for Back to School Bash

For those who might not like returning to school, the annual Back to School Bash hoped to make things a little better.

The Bash, which was presented by Pizzeria GM and Ash, was held at Patriot Park. In addition to gathering the community together for a fun evening, the public event treated people to rides, bounce houses, live music — including a performance by the Homewood High School Band — food and fun. Activities such as corn hole and ladder golf were available for older students, as well.

Proceeds from attraction ticket sales will benefit the HHS band as they prepare to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
