Assistance League to feature cabaret program
Assistance League of Birmingham will hold Sunset and Song, an evening of music starring Lonnie Parson and his friends, Kristi Tingle Higginbothom and Jan Hunter. The cabaret evening is scheduled for April 23 at 5:30 p.m.
Cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions will take place at the rooftop garden and lounge in the historic Kress Building at 301 19th Street North, provided by the law firm of Wiggins, Childs, Pantazis, Fisher and Goldfarb. The musical performance by Lonnie Parsons and his friends will be downstairs in the Red Mountain Theater Cabaret.
