Tricia celebrates 70 with burgers and dancing

In honor of her 70th birthday, Tricia Hopkins Thomas brought the T&R burger back to downtown Homewood.

Although the Tricia's Treasures owner has been in the antiques business for 33 years now, before that she was known for her burgers at her first business, T&R Snack Shop, which she ran in South East Lake from 1967-1982.

During the party on March 20, Thomas' cousin, Larry Parker, played popular 50s and 60s his with his band, Larry and the Loafers. Thomas cooked burgers and took an occasional break to dance or sing with Larry while friends and family watched on.
