Second warrant signed in America’s Best Inn robbery

A warrant was signed for a second person in connection to the May 27 robbery of an America’s Best Inn. Temira Lashonda Henderson was identified for her involvement in the robbery of the Homewood America’s Best Inn, and the warrant with $15,000 bond has been signed.

On May 27, a black woman entered the lobby of the America’s Best Inn on Summit Parkway and left in a small, dark-colored car. The same car returned a few minutes later and two black males entered the lobby. One man had a handgun and threatened the clerk, saying he wanted his wallet and money. The men then jumped the counter and took money from the cash drawer.

Darrell Lamont Davis was also arrested in connection the America’s Best Robbery. He was charged with first degree robbery and taken into custody on June 29.

Henderson is not in custody, and anyone with information about her location can call Crime Stoppers at 254-7777.
