Public meeting to discuss future West Homewood commercial development

A public meeting concerning a new commercial development classification for West Homewood will be held October 11 from 4-7 p.m. at Homewood Senior Center. The public is invited to drop in at any time to share thoughts on what kind of commercial development they want to see in their community.

Input will be taken into consideration for a study being conducted by the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham. Specifics of the new zoning classification will later be discussed at the Planning Commission and Homewood City Council level.
