Police seeking identity of suspect in car break-in

Police are asking for public help in identifying the suspect who broke into a car and business on Thursday, Oct. 15.

Between 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., the man reportedly forcibly broke into a car that was left overnight at 3040 Independence Drive. He then attempted to break into the business at that address by using a metal bar.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s. He is 5-foot-8 and between 145 and 175 pounds. He was driving a mid-90s, four-door, light colored Chrysler Concord with damage to the passenger side.
