Police seek to locate individual for questioning

Homewood Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman for questioning in connection to a crime that reportedly occurred in May. The woman is 31-year-old Ladreka Sherell Davis. Davis also goes by Ladreka Hunter, is a black female and pregnant, according to police.

On April 30 around 10:30 p.m., a Homewood resident returned home and found a while male inside their home. The homeowner confronted the suspect who then reportedly ran. Police released photos of the white male on Thursday, May 12. He has been identified and interviewed, and the case is still under investigation, according to police.

The victim’s credit card reportedly was used on May 1 at Western Supermarket on Highland Avenue in Birmingham. The credit card was used by a black female, according to police.

Davis has a warrant for probation violation with Homewood Police Department, and anyone who knows her whereabouts is encouraged to call Sgt. Harris with the Criminal Investigations Division at 332-6240.
