Police on lookout for missing child in Vestavia

Vestavia Hills Police Department is searching for 16-year-old Andelica Cross, who has been missing from Bessemer since April 6. The police received a tip that Cross had been spotted in the 2200 block of Pinecrest Drive on Sunday, May 31, around 2:30 p.m.

The Hueytown Police Department has been handling the missing person case. A call to Hueytown Police Chief Chuck Hagler was not immediately returned.

Cross is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair, pierced ears and is possibly wearing a T-shirt and shorts. Her full missing child report can be found on missingkids.com.
