Police locate man wanted for theft

UPDATE: Deshaun Mikal Thomas was apprehended a little before 2 p.m., according to a Homewood Police Department Facebook post.

"Thanks to the public for the swift cooperation!" the post read. "The man charged in the theft at Dawson has been apprehended."

The location of a man wanted for stealing a computer from Dawson Rec Center is unknown, according to a Facebook post from Homewood Police Department.

Deshaun Mikal Thomas, 19, had a warrant signed for stealing a computer from the rec center on June 6. His last known address in Homewood is 710 Wild Forest, but he has moved and police do not know his current address.

Anyone who sees Thomas should contact local police and advise there is a warrant out for his arrest. Homewood Police Department can be reached at 332-6240.
