Man attempts burglary at Edgewood home

A burglary attempt occurred in Edgewood on Tuesday night, March 3.

At 11:18 p.m. a homeowner reported that an unknown black male opened the garage door to his residence and entered his basement. When the homeowner went to investigate, the man ran to what looked like a maroon Ford Expedition that was waiting for him.

This incident occurred in the 800 block of Wingate Circle.
