Habitat house built by Trinity volunteers to be dedicated

A dedication ceremony for a Habitat for Humanity house recently built by Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood in partnership with Habitat for Humanity is set Saturday, July 27 at 9 a.m.

The new house, located in the Clay/Chalkville community, was built in memory of Ken Johnson. Johnson, alongtime Trinity member and chair of the church’s trustees, passed away recently.

More than 350 Trinity volunteers worked with Kim Toler, the homeowner, to build the house. It was funded by members of Trinity along with several generous corporate supporters.
