Free West Homewood concert to feature Firekid

Firekid will perform a free concert at the West Homewood Farmer’s Market on Sept. 15.

The market will run 5-8 p.m. with produce and craft vendors. The Holmsombecks will perform 5:30-6 p.m., and Firekid will take the stage 7-8 p.m.

Firekid’s Dillon Hodges is a Muscle Shoals native and won the National Guitar Championship at the age of 17.

Cantina, Saw’s, Heavenly Donut Co and Old Town Pizza food trucks will be at the market as well.

The concert is being sponsored by Verizon Cellular Sales. It is part of a monthly Tuesday Night Lights concert series that began last month with a show by The Vespers. A third event will take place at November’s night market.
