Four arrested for Delcris burglary attempt

Homewood Police responded to a possible burglary in progress on Delcris Drive on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 18.

As 12:43 pm, officers arrived on the scene and observed two black males leaving in a white Trail Blazer and two black males run off on foot. The two in the Trial Blazer refused to stop and wrecked on Spaulding-Ishkooda Road after striking a power pole. Both the driver and passenger were placed under arrest.

The two black males that ran off on foot were located at West Oxmoor Road and Shannon Road and placed under arrest.

A residence on Delcris Drive was found to have a door forced open. All four suspects are in custody at Homewood jail. No one was reported injured during this incident.
