Farmers market lemonade to support Molly Rossell

by

Homewood children are hosting a lemonade stand at the Homewood Farmers Market in Soho on Saturday morning, July 18 to support a local mom fighting cancer.

The group will be selling lemonade and treats and will have a poster and note cars for those who stop by to signand leave in a message jar for Molly Remmert Rossell.

Rossell has three young children and is battling stage four melanoma. She previously taught at Hall-Kent Elementary.

"I'm proud of the kids when they answer the call to serve," said Amber Kelley, whose daughter Scarlett is participating in the stand. "This is just a small way they can encourage others to give up even more prayers of healing and comfort for Mrs. Molly."

Stand for Giving has previously held lemonade and hot chocolate stands in Edgewood to raise money and awareness for local causes.

The Homewood Farmer’s Market runs Saturdays from 8 a.m.-noon at Soho and is held by Urban Cookhouse.
