Thousands braved icy cold on Dec. 11 to see the 2012 Homewood Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The parade included dozens of participants representing businesses and organizations from across the city, throwing candy and other trinkets to eager children lining the sidewalks.

The parade, sponsored by CBS 42, concluded with a Tree Lighting Ceremony at SoHo.
