Camp Smile-A-Mile’s Monkey C Monkey Run

Camp Smile-A-Mile is holding the Monkey C Monkey Run at Homewood Central Park on September 8. All proceeds will benefit Camp Smile A Mile at Lake Martin for children with cancer.

Camp SAM’s mission is to provide year round challenging, unforgettable recreational and educational experiences for young cancer patients, their families and young adult survivors from Alabama at no cost.

Individual registration for the race is $30 after August 20.

Packet pick-up and late registration will be at Trak Shak in Homewood, Thursday, September 6 and Friday, September 7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The race will start at 8 a.m., and day-of registration will be open at the park from 6:30 a.m.- 7:45 a.m.

The course will be USATF-certified and chip timing is included in registration costs. Participants are encouraged to join in awards, entertainment and refreshments in Homewood Park following the race.
