Artists needed for We Love Homewood Day chalk art event

Homewood Rotary Club is seeking artists for its annual chalk art event this May.

Sidewalk squares are $100 for individuals or $500 for corporate sponsors.

Artists begin drawing around 7:30 or 8 a.m., and judging starts between 1 and 2 p.m. Prizes include Best of Show ($500 award), Chairman’s Choice ($300 award), Most Creative ($300) and Best of Show-Youth Division.

Water, snacks and chalk are provided. Anyone who would like to participate is encouraged to call or email Debbie Roberson at 803-5805 or Debbie.roberson@iberiabank.com.
