Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange spoke at the Homewood Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting Luncheon on Dec. 17. New Chamber Board members were also  announced at the event.

Luther recalled walking to Shades Cahaba Elementary and delivering papers along Valley Avenue growing up in Homewood and noted that he and his wife, Melissa, have recently bought a condo in SoHo. As the state’s chief law enforcement officer, he works with Alabama’s district attorneys and law enforcement personnel to investigate and prosecute crimes throughout the state.

Also at the luncheon, outgoing Chamber President Stephen Preston recognized the award winners below before incoming President Trey Schaefer thanked Preston for his service and introduced the new Board of Directors for 2014.
