After suddenly closing in late June, Oak and Raleigh looks ready to reopen soon under a new name.

Oak and Raleigh, located at 705 Oak Grove, closed on June 23. According to Facebook posts made by owner Morgan Duncan, the restaurant has been bought and will be reopening in the near future. A sign has been posted on the storefront indicating that it will reopen as Oak and Raleigh Public House.

In an email, Duncan said he is planning to open something different, with more details available soon. He did not give any more information on the new owners of Oak and Raleigh.

Oak and Raleigh originally opened in September 2015. It featured sandwiches, soups, salads and "bar food," as well as wine and craft beers. The restaurant included an arcade and was frequently host to live music.
