Guthrie's Chicken opens this week

The drive-through lane of Guthrie's chicken restaurant is opening Tuesday, July 5 at its new Palisades location.

Guthrie's sells fried chicken sandwiches and fingers as well as signature sauces and is 51 years old. The chain has several locations around the Southeast, Kentucky and Ohio, including 17 other Alabama locations. The new store at 341 Palisades Boulevard has been under construction for two months.

The restaurant is drive-through only and sells individual meals and buckets for parties or family meals. Guthrie's will be open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
